With the college basketball season only months away, Rutgers roster will look very different than just a year ago. Over the last few months, they have lost vital pieces such as Cam Spencer and Paul Mulcahy to the transfer portal. However, on Thursday, after the Scarlet Knights got promising news in the form of Jeremiah Williams.
The former Iowa State guard announced on social media that he had committed to Rutgers. While he hasn’t played since the 2021-2022 campaign, Willimas is an intriguing talent.

Before joining Iowa State, Williams began his college career at Temple. In his two years as an Owl, Williams averaged 9.4 points and 4.2 assists a game. While those numbers don’t jump off the page, he still was an effective piece and drew the interest of Iowa State.
