The Colorado Buffaloes remain winless against ranked opponents this year following their 61-58 loss to the No. 16 USC Trojans on Thursday night. The Buffs kept it close until the very end, but a few untimely turnovers in the final minutes resulted in a victory for USC.
Colorado will now focus its attention on the No. 9 UCLA Bruins, who will take the floor in Boulder on Saturday night. Splitting this homestand would be great for the Buffs, and a statement win is more than needed for Tad Boyle’s squad to reach the NCAA Tournament.
