Florida’s road matchup with South Carolina is almost here, and it’s always smart to scout the enemy before a big game — even if you’re a fan.
The Gamecocks have a few big names on their team, primarily quarterback Spencer Rattler, who transferred from Oklahoma after losing the starting job to Caleb Williams, who is now with USC. Rattler is still looking to recreate that 3,000-yard and 28-touchdown season he had in 2020, but turnovers have been an issue lately.
It’s not all about the quarterback, though. South Carolina’s defense could give Florida’s run-heavy offense fits. The Gamecocks do a fine job wrapping up ball carriers and preventing the run from developing.
