If he plays on your team you undoubtedly love him but if he plays against you he gets under your skin without a doubt.

Tate is still playing in the NFL, having started his career in Seattle before signing with the Lions and joining the Giants last season.  He won the Belitnikoff Award his final year at Notre Dame but aside from being a great player, he had the attitude that would thrive in the ring.

You mention Tate to a Notre Dame fan one of their first memories is without a doubt, him diving into the Michigan State band upon scoring the go-ahead and eventual game-winning touchdown in 2009.

Tate is the handsome, star athlete who will smile pretty when you’re looking at him.  Don’t confuse it for a second though, the second you turn your back (or the official does) he’ll grab the necessary chair or whatever it may be and strike his opponent to ensure victory.
