Despite the knee injury the Dallas Cowboys still selected Mike Mickens in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
The knee injury unfortunately never allowed him to be the same player he was as the speed never returned for Mickens.
Mickens never played in an NFL game while spending time on the Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccanneers and Cincinnati Bengals practice squads.
He also spent a season in the CFL.
