Those waiting for that big matchup between Missouri and Vanderbilt this weekend will have to wait a little longer.
On Monday, it was announced that the meeting between the Tigers and Commodores in Columbia has been postponed due to both teams having a large number of players quarantined due to COVID-19 and contact tracing.
Per The Tennesseean:
Vanderbilt had only 56 scholarship players for its 41-7 loss to South Carolina. Missouri had 61 scholarship players available for its 45-41 win over LSU.
The SEC requires a team to have at least 53 scholarship players available this season to avoid a cancellation, rescheduling or no-contest declaration of a game.
This is the first SEC game to be postponed due to the virus.
