The Boston Celtics may not yet know which team they will be playing in the first round of the 2023 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs but they do know when and where that contest will take place.
The Celtics officially have their start date to their next run on an NBA title, which will begin in earnest this weekend. It will be played against the winner of the Miami Heat – Atlanta Hawks play-in game that is taking place on this Tuesday, April 11, and will take place at the Celtics’ home court of TD Garden at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 15.
The series will have Boston holding homecourt advantage, and while we have yet to get the full schedule in terms of dates and times, will likely be one day on, and then another day off most contests, with the home-home-away-away (and home-away-home if needed) best-of-7 format the framework for those dates.
