The Dolphins are no longer in control of their own destiny heading into the final week after falling 23-21 at the New England Patriots in Week 17. The Dolphins have dropped 5 straight games and need a little help to get in the playoffs.
Miami needs New England to lose its Week 18 game against the Buffalo Bills, and they need to beat the Jets, to secure the final wild-card berth. The Fins will likely be without QBs Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Teddy Bridgewater (finger) and will have to rely on 3rd-string QB Skylar Thompson.

Jets vs. Dolphins head-to-head

The Dolphins have largely been in command across the last 10 meetings, winning 8, however, the Jets recorded a 40-17 victory when they met in Week 5 at MetLife Stadium.
