The New Orleans Saints (5-7) head to East Rutherford, N.J., Sunday for a Week 14 game with the New York Jets (3-9). The kickoff at MetLife Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Saints vs. Jets odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.
New Orleans got beat 27-17 at home by the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football in Week 13 and failed to cover as a 6.5-point underdog. It was Saints QB Taysom Hill’s first start of the season under center.
Hill completed just 19 of 41 passes for 264 yards with a 2 TD:4 INT ratio and he added 101 rushing yards on 11 carries. Hill injured his finger in the game but will try to play through the pain, reportedly.
New York got balled up by Philadelphia Eagles backup QB Gardner Minshew in a 33-18 home loss Sunday.
The Jets had 137 fewer total yards, half as many third-down conversions and 11 fewer minutes of ball possession than the Eagles. Jets rookie QB Zach Wilson completed 60.5% of his throws (23-for-38) for 226 yards with 2 TD:1 INT ratio.
