The Browns head into the 2021 regular season with sky-high expectations, and Week 1 will be a good measuring stick against the defending AFC champions on their home field. Cleveland finished the preseason 3-0 SU, 2-1 ATS and with a 0-3 O/U mark.

The Chiefs head into Week 1 with four consecutive covers in regular-season openers, while also posting a 12-2 ATS mark in their last 14 games in September. Kansas City also finished the preseason 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS but with a 1-2 O/U record.

Browns at Chiefs head-to-head

The Browns and Chiefs met in the AFC Divisional Playoff Round on Jan. 17 at Arrowhead, with Kansas City edging Cleveland 22-17. The Browns covered as 7.5-point underdogs but they were aided by QB Patrick Mahomes leaving the game early due to a lower-body injury.

The last regular-season meeting between these teams came Nov. 4, 2018, a 37-21 win by the Chiefs at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland. The last regular-season meeting at Arrowhead was Dec. 27, 2015, a 17-13 win by the Chiefs, although the Browns covered an 11.5-point number as the Under (42.5) hit.
