First look: Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars odds and lines

The Cleveland Browns (0-1) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) meet in a Week 2 battle at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). The Browns laid an egg at home in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, suffering a 33-17 loss as a 2-point favorite as the Over (42.5) cashed. The defense did well, allowing 102 rushing yards and 163 passing yards, but the offense was a mess, and most of the production came after the game was already decided.

Cleveland also had 11 penalties for 64 yards, which needs to be cleaned up. On a positive note, the Browns were 2-for-2 in red-zone efficiency, but it was minus-2 in turnover ratio due to a pair of QB Deshaun Watson INTs.

The Jaguars went down to Miami for Week 1 and had a competitive game, falling 20-17. Jacksonville did cover at most shops as a 3.5-point underdog as the Under (49) easily connected. Jacksonville led 17-7 at halftime, and that’s how the score stayed until late in the 3rd quarter when the Dolphins hit an 80-yard TD pass which seemed to turn the tide.
