The Falcons earned a 27-25 win over the New Orleans Saints Sunday. Atlanta won for the third time in its last four games as QB Matt Ryan threw for a season-high 343 yards. The Falcons’ four victories this season are by a combined margin of 14 points.

The Cowboys had a six-game win streak snapped with a 30-16 home loss to the Denver Broncos. Dallas was a minus-2 in turnovers and managed just 290 total yards. The Cowboys lost at home for the first time since Nov. 26, 2020, as QB Dak Prescott completed just 48.7% (19-for-39) of his passes.

Falcons at Cowboys head-to-head

Dallas defeated Atlanta 40-39 in a wild game at AT&T Stadium Sept. 20 last season. The Falcons led that game 20-0 after the first quarter and still led by 15 points (39-24) with five minutes remaining in the fourth. The Cowboys scored the final 16 points of the game, including a Greg Zuerlein field goal as time expired. Dallas outgained Atlanta 570 to 380 total yards.

In 29 all-time meetings, Dallas leads the series 18-11.
