Here are the plays that defined Auburn’s first half against No. 12 Ole Miss

It is halftime at Jordan-Hare Stadium, and the Auburn Tigers are tied with No. 12 Ole Miss, 14-14.

The game opened fast, as Ole Miss led Auburn 14-7 through the end of the 1st quarter. All three scores went over 10 yards, including a 53-yard rush by Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter.

Robby Ashford started the game at quarterback for Auburn, with Payton Thorne sliding in from time to time. Ashford completed 3-of-4 passes for 22 yards while Thorne completed his 1-of-2 passes for four yards. Hunter led all rushers with 63 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.

Defensively, Donovan Kaufman and Zion Puckett recorded interceptions while Larry Nixon led the team in tackles with six. Ole Miss has outgained Auburn, 229-140.
