The Los Angeles Rams haven’t approached must-win territory just yet, but a loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday would be devastating to their playoff chances. Fortunately, Washington is a much weaker opponent than the ones Los Angeles has faced in recent weeks, and certainly easier to beat than the Baltimore Ravens.
Fresh off an overtime loss to the Ravens, the Rams are looking to bounce back and beat their NFC East foes. Well-rested following their Week 14 bye, the Commanders may not be such an easy out, especially if the offense gets going. But this is a perfect opportunity for the Rams offense to put up big numbers against the worst defense in football.
Can Los Angeles take care of business as sizable favorites and beat the Commanders at home?

Rams vs. Commanders injury report:
Final score prediction and best bet
The Rams may only be two games better than the Commanders in the standings, but they’re a significantly more talented and better team than Washington. They could easily have two or three more wins of not for second-half struggles, but even at 6-7, the Rams are within striking distance of a playoff spot.
The Commanders, on the other hand, have the most-sacked quarterback in the NFL and a defense that’s allowed the most points and yards in football. That’s a bad combination for Washington, and one that certainly creates a positive outlook for the Rams.
The Rams should be able to handle their struggling opponents on Sunday, sending Washington home with its fifth straight loss and a 4-10 record. This game means much more for the Rams than it does for the Commanders, and now is not the time for Los Angeles to lay an egg at home.
Best bet: Cooper Kupp over 72.5 receiving yards (-110)
Prediction: Rams 27, Commanders 17
