Final Injury Report: Packers rule out 4 starters, Elliott to test knee Saturday

The Cowboys and Packers are in very different places as they are on a collision course to meet on Sunday afternoon. @KDDrummondNFL with a look at the report.

There’s only one question remaining on the Cowboys side of things. Will Ezekiel Elliott be cleared to play? The Dallas running back hyperextended his knee on a mid-air hit in Week 7’s game against the Detroit Lions. While Elliott finished the game, he was forced to sit out the team’s matchup with the Chicago Bears in Week 8, ahead of the team’s bye week. If Elliott does play, he will wear a supportive knee brace, but his status will be determined by Saturday’s work.

Overall though, the Cowboys are in a relatively strong spot after the week of rest with just one active-roster player being ruled out. Meanwhile the Packers’s injury situation is more dire. Green Bay has three players who are questionable, or worse, and another four who have been ruled out completely. Three of those players are starters, and that doesn’t even include their top pass rusher. Rashan Gary was placed on IR this week with a torn ACL. Here’s a look at each player who was listed on the injury report from each team.
