Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s season finale vs. LSU

Texas A&M’s 2022 season is finally coming to a close, as the Aggies face the 5th-ranked LSU Tigers on Saturday night in Kyle Field, closing out their disappointing season in the same way they started it; in front of the 12th Man.

Sitting at 4-7, and 1-6 in the SEC, defeating LSU won’t change the trajectory of the season, but may provide a much-needed boost of momentum heading into the offseason. On Monday, head coach Jimbo Fisher gave a couple of updates regarding the injury report heading into Saturday’s matchup, focused on the potential return of star running back Devon Achane, and freshman wide receiver Evan Stewart who both missed last weekend’s game vs. UMass.

To reiterate, Fisher noted that he was “very optimistic” that both will return against the Tigers, meaning that for the second time all season since the Ole Miss game, quarterback Conner Weigman, Achane, and Stewart will all be in the starting rotation.

Last reminder, every currently suspended player including wide receiver Chris Marshall, offensive lineman PJ Williams, defensive end Anthony Lucas, and cornerback Denver Harris will remain suspended for the game.
