Alabama’s postseason hopes have officially died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Crimson Tide’s second loss of the regular season comes on the road at the hands of the LSU Tigers.
In Brian Kelly’s first season as the head coach of the program, he made some bold calls in the overtime upset win over the Crimson Tide.
The game was close from start to finish and it’s reflected in the final score: 32-31.
After losing to Tennessee a few weeks back, this second loss is likely the nail in the coffin for the Crimson Tide’s chances of making the College Football Playoff.
Now, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide will have to depart with generational players like Bryce Young and Will Anderson in what fans will have to hope is a New Years Six Bowl Game.
