Primer
Will Johnson long has had the one corner spot locked down so the big question was who will start opposite him? With Aamir Hall transferring in from Albany and Ricky Johnson from UNLV, they provided needed depth, but Jyaire Hill came on strong in year two and earned the starting job opposite Johnson.
Projected starters: Will Johnson, Jyaire Hill
Rotation: Aamir Hall, Ricky Johnson, Keshaun Harris, Ja’Den McBurrows, Myles Pollard
Position outlook
As far as the starters go, there are no questions there at the moment, now that Hill has locked down the spot opposite Johnson. But who will rotate in? Hall figures to be the most likely third corner while Harris has started games last year, despite being a walk-on. Johnson and McBurrows will likely also see time regularly, if not late in games. Our big question then turns to Pollard, who has a ton of potential but has yet to see regular playing time as a reserve. Likewise, there is freshman Jo’Ziah Edmond, who climbed quickly up the recruiting rankings after flipping to Michigan from Purdue.
