Caitlin Clark is a generational talent. Every time she steps onto the floor as a Hawkeye is a treat for Iowa fans.
Now, with her senior year in full swing, Clark seems to be at the height of her powers and in full control of her greatness. She also seemingly grasps her place and importance within women’s basketball.
The 6-foot superstar guard is averaging a career-best 31.7 points per game on a career-low 33.4 minutes per game. The West Des Moines product is shooting a career-best 48.1% from the field and close to her best from beyond the 3-point arc with 40.0% accuracy.
Clark is still sharing the basketball plenty, currently ranking second nationally with 7.7 assists per game. She also pulls in 7.0 rebounds per contest.
Clark has Iowa off to an 18-2 (7-1 Big Ten) start and firmly in the mix for the Big Ten regular season crown and a chance at a No. 1 seed when the 2024 NCAA Tournament rolls around.
Today just so happens to be Clark’s 22nd birthday. An ardent Taylor Swift fan, Clark is truly feelin’ 22 today.
