Fantasy start or sit Week 2: Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, Julio Jones

Despite a down Week 1, nothing has changed for the Titans’ fantasy football studs.

The Tennessee Titans’ best fantasy football assets for 2021 all got off to a bad start in Week 1, as the team’s offense simply couldn’t get anything going.

Running back Derrick Henry was stifled all afternoon and really didn’t get going until late in the game. Henry had less than 10 yards at halftime, and finished with just 58 yards on 17 carries with no scores.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Julio Jones was an absolute dud, and fellow wideout A.J. Brown was quiet for the most part.

Brown did find the end zone, but tallied just four catches for 49 yards. Jones dropped multiple passes and totaled just three catches for 29 yards. It certainly wasn’t the start we envisioned for either player.

But context is important here. The root of all of Tennessee’s offensive issues came from horrendous blocking upfront, as quarterback Ryan Tannehill was under pressure for the entire game, leading to his getting sacked six times.

However, this Titans offensive line should be better than what it showed in Week 1; the only question is: when will that improvement come to fruition?

With all that in mind, here’s a look at some start or sit advice for Henry, Brown and Jones ahead of their Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
