Most fantasy football leagues are down to three weeks left in the regular season before playoffs begin in Week 14. To help you get set for the stretch run, we look at the top fantasy football waiver wire adds and injury replacements for Week 11.
Teams on bye: Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers
Fantasy football Week 11 waiver adds
Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed
Ahmed has taken over the Dolphins’ lead role in the backfield with Myles Gaskin (knee) and Matt Breida (hamstring) sidelined by injuries and veteran Jordan Howard released Monday.
Ahmed, an undrafted free agent, played 76% of the offensive snaps in Week 10 and rushed 21 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. The Dolphins have rung up five straight wins and have favorable upcoming matchups against the Denver Broncos, New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals. Meet your new plug-and-play RB2.
New Orleans Saints QB Jameis Winston
Winston is set to take over the starting reigns in New Orleans for at least Week 11. QB Drew Brees could miss multiple games due to a variety of accumulated injuries. While Saints head coach Sean Payton hasn’t officially chosen a replacement starter between Winston and Taysom Hill, it was the former No. 1 pick who completed 6 of 10 passes for 63 yards in relief of Brees in Week 10.
The Saints will play the Atlanta Falcons twice and the Denver Broncos once in their next three games. Winston’s average line against the Falcons over nine games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was 21-for-32 for 278 yards and 2.8 touchdowns with 1 interception. He’s an automatic QB1 starter for as long as Brees is sidelined, or until he proves us wrong.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr.
Pittman, the 34th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, had his best game as a pro in Week 10. He caught 7 of 8 targets for 101 yards while playing over 80% of the offensive snaps for the second week in a row. He has helped add some life to a previously flat Colts passing attack.
Colts WR T.Y. Hilton has struggled to produce with QB Philip Rivers. Hilton has just 291 receiving yards with no touchdowns through eight games, so the No. 1 job is quickly being handed off to the rookie.
Los Angeles Chargers RB Kalen Ballage
Ballage’s revenge tour will continue against the Jets in Week 11 after he ran 18 times for 68 yards and caught five of six targets for 34 yards against the Dolphins in Week 10. The 2018 fourth-round pick received the start last week and should remain in that role with RB Justin Jackson (knee) placed on the Reserve/Injured list and Austin Ekeler (hamstring) still sidelined and losing reason to return this season.
Ballage played 73% of the offensive snaps last week and outplayed rookie Joshua Kelley in both the running and passing games. Ballage should remain in lineups against a Jets team allowing 26.89 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs.
Los Angeles Rams WR Josh Reynolds
Reynolds was targeted a season-high 10 times against the Seattle Seahawks and caught 8 of them for 94 yards. He’ll have a tougher matchup this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he should be added in preparation for the fantasy playoffs. He’ll play the Jets in Week 15 and the Seahawks again in Week 16.
