This introductory section is usually reserved for players who deserve the most praise, but after Week 10, I want to throw out three names which will be popular waiver wire targets that I will not be claiming. I’m avoiding Washington Football Tight end Logan Thomas, Green Bay Packers receiver Marquez Valdez-Scantling and Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Keelan Cole.
They might be worth targeting after waivers clear, especially in deeper leagues. But they’re simply unreliable. Thomas is always liable to sprinkle a good outing into a mess of bad ones. Valdez-Scantling is simply a product of Packers-WR-roulette, with a pass-catcher popping in any given week, which will get more complicated if Allen Lazard returns. And Cole consistently puts up 40 receiving yards but inconsistently puts up touchdowns, so he’s not fun to start on the weeks he doesn’t find the end zone.
Here are the 10 waiver wire targets I like after Week 10. Keep in mind that we don’t include players owned in 50% or more of ESPN leagues. So there may be players of better value in your league. Keep your eyes peeled.
