Twitter can be a brutal — or entertaining — place to be on a Sunday evening after a Washington Football Team loss. The range of emotions you see from Washington fans go from hilarious to extreme. Every fan base likely faces a similar situation after a loss, but Washington fans are unique.
Fans are tired of being told “the team is close,” or, insert name here, is the savior of the once-proud franchise. Regardless of who the coach is, Washington players always seem to have an inflated sense of how good they actually are.
And don’t get even get started on the culture. Fans want a winner. Period.
In Sunday’s Week 5 loss to the Saints, some fans finally realized that this team is what it is after five games.
So, without further ado, here are some of the best Twitter reactions during and after Washington’s loss to the Saints.
Next week could be the ugliest game in Football Team history.

Sold my tickets for $1,100…Has to be a Chiefs fan no WFT fan is spending that on this team.

And Landon Collins wanted to wear 21…. Smh
— L J (@LJ_4869) October 10, 2021
Landon Collins said they didn’t think the Saints would attempt a Hail Mary. Said they were expecting a quick pass and FG attempt “we werent prepared for that one”.

Not a one. pic.twitter.com/qR0yvDs6SY

Not a smart defense. Never prepared for anything.
— Daniel Kurland (@PoeticLicencedk) October 10, 2021
Landon Collins does nothing well. Easily the worst safety in the league

What do you suppose Bobby McCain is doing? #WashingtonFootball ❓ pic.twitter.com/PkPCUXwTKZ
— Richmond John (@TheRichmondJohn) October 10, 2021
Bobby McCain with a missed tackle — we'll keep writing it — and Alvin Kamara scores an easy touchdown.
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) October 10, 2021
Don’t even put a mic in front of Bobby McCain’s face for him to say some stupid shit this week

Heinicke's worst game. Bad.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) October 10, 2021
We've clearly seen Heinicke's limitations on full display today.

Jack Del Rio plays his DBs 5-10 yards off the receivers every play but in a Hail Mary situation he decides to play them up 😂😂😂😂😂

WFT, in an effort to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness month, should seriously consider handing out a giant pink slip to Jack Del Rio

Rivera and Jack Del Rio talk a good game……………

How much money did we give William Jackson again. Man stealing money already.
— Bobby Wiggins (@wiggygoskins) October 10, 2021
William Jackson told the media this week that Washington's secondary issues would be an easy fix. Seriously. That was said.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) October 10, 2021
Keep Kam Curl, rest of the secondary can go pic.twitter.com/hka2f1xiu6

I mean… what’s left for the faithful? Name & logo gone. History will get mothballed bit by bit. Current team stinks. No QB of future. Snyder survived and got *stronger*! Current dump half empty. No prospects for new place on the horizon. These are “end times” I am afraid. https://t.co/obCzIVMjet

Meanwhile, the WFT is an 0-5 team in a 2-3 wrapper. Defense as over-rated as Dippin Dots.
