Fans, Media react to MSU Basketball hiring Saddi Washington as new assistant coach

Michigan State basketball has completed its coaching staff.

The Spartans announced on Thursday the hiring of Saddi Washington as the team’s final assistant coach. Washington is a Lansing, Mich. native and has spent the past eight seasons coaching at rival Michigan.

I’m a big fan of the Saddi Washington hire.

Lansing’s own and son of an MSU all-time great. Saddi has been a well-regarded assistant coach at Oakland and U-M. Great player himself at WMU.
