The Final Fantasy 7 Remake only recently came out on PC, but fans are already tinkering away at it.
One of them is FinalFanTV, who made a ridiculously cool classic camera mock-up for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It’s not a full-blown mod anyone can install yet; only a proof-of-concept technical feat meant to inspire modders to create something more in-depth. According to the YouTube description showcasing the mock-up, anyway.
To give you an idea of how on-point the concept is, FinalFanTV uploaded a side-by-side comparison between their mock-up and the original Final Fantasy 7, which you can check out below.
It’s astounding how close FinalFanTV’s mock-up is to the real deal. When you consider that modders have barely any time to figure out what makes the Final Fantasy 7 Remake tick, the possibilities seem endless. Hopefully, Square Enix doesn’t shut down any more fan concepts after what happened with Project Memoria.
Modding scenes on PC are part of what makes the platform so much fun. From Among Us astronauts in Resident Evil 3 to zombies finally being part of Red Dead Redemption 2, the sky truly is the limit. Here’s to hoping the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be boiling over with all kinds of goofy nonsense in a few months as well.
