Sometimes stars from one industry (sports) align with stars from another (entertainment) resulting in holy matrimony. It happens a lot.
Ashley Drane and David Eckstein
Ashley Drane, an actress, and David Eckstein, a two-time Major League Baseball All-Star, two-time World Series champ and World Series MVP, met in 2003 through mutual friends who thought they’d get along. Eckstein proposed on one-knee, giving Drane a Cheshire Cat purse with a diamond ring inside.
