The Atlanta Falcons (3-8) will host the New Orleans Saints (9-2) this Thursday in the NFL’s Thanksgiving night game. Practice is altered to help players adjust to the short week, so it’s tough to know who is out for rest and who is actually hurt until Wednesday’s designations are released.
Wide receiver Julio Jones missed practice on Monday and Tuesday while dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered during the team’s Week 12 loss to the Buccaneers. Running back Devonta Freeman returned today, though, and could see his first game action in three weeks.
