The Atlanta Falcons extended their best defensive player, adding three more years to star defensive lineman Grady Jarrett’s contract on Tuesday.
For much of the offseason, it appeared the team was trying to move Jarrett, whose contract was set to expire in 2023. Now the former fifth-round pick is getting a three-year extension worth $51 million, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
