The Atlanta Falcons will hold a second interview with former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick this weekend, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday morning. Belichick previously met with Falcons owner Arthur Blank last weekend and now it sounds like the two sides are getting close to a deal.

The Falcons have interviewed six other candidates — Jim Harbaugh, Steve Wilks, Anthony Weaver, Brian Callahan, Ejiro Evero, and Mike Macdonald — but Belichick has yet to speak with any other teams.
During his 24 seasons with the Patriots, Belichick won 17 division titles and six Super Bowls. Despite his past success, Falcons fans didn’t seem overly excited about potentially hiring Belichick.
