Falcons safety Jessie Bates III and CB Jeff Okudah were fined by the NFL for unnecessary roughness

The Atlanta Falcons have been fined once again by the NFL, this time for infractions committed by two defenders during the team’s loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.

Safety Jessie Bates III and cornerback Jeff Okudah were each fined for unnecessary roughness penalties in the second quarter of Sunday’s game. Bates must pay the NFL $21,855 while Okudah was fined $16,391, per ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.

The Falcons have received numerous fines already this season. Fullback Keith Smith was forced to pay $87,000 to the NFL for unnecessary roughness back in September.
