Falcons’ rushing attack to challenge Cardinals’ defense

The Falcons have the league’s No. 3 rushing attack and the Cardinals are 0-10 when opponents rush for at least 100 yards.

Both the Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons are struggling at this stage of the season. The Cardinals have lost five straight and seven of their last eight games, while the Falcons are mired in a four-game losing streak and have dropped six of their last seven.

However, the Falcons have one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL, which poses problems for Arizona’s defense.

The Cardinals are 0-10 this season when their opponents rush for at least 100 yards as a team.

The Falcons are No. 3 in the NFL in rushing, averaging 160.8 yards per game. They are fourth in yards per carry at 4.9.

They are led by rookie Tyler Allgeier, who has 817 yards on 4.9 yards per attempt, a player who will run through defenders and shows effort in every attempt.

He is complemented by Cordarrelle Patterson, who also averages 4.9 yards per carry and has 635 yards and six touchdowns.

As a team, they have failed to reach 100 yards only once this season.

The Cardinals are 12th in rushing defense, allowing 114.3 yards per game. However, they allow the 10th-highest average per attempt at 4.6 yards.
