The Atlanta Falcons fell to the bottom of the NFC South standings after Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints. And while the team is not technically out of the division race, Atlanta is more likely to focus on developing and evaluating its young talent over the final three weeks.
Rookie running back Tyler Allgeier was a major bright spot on Sunday, rushing for a career-high 139 yards and a touchdown. The fifth-round pick out of BYU earned the Falcons’ highest Pro Football Focus grade in Week 15. Allgeier’s 93.5 offensive rating is considered elite, but the rest of the team didn’t fare as well.
