Falcons RB Bijan Robinson dazzles with 1st NFL touchdown

Bijan Robinson was breaking ankles in his first touchdown as a Falcon.

It didn’t take long for Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Bijan Robinson to remind everyone why he was taken so high in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. Robinson got his first NFL touchdown on Sunday with a beautiful catch and run against the Carolina Panthers.

Robinson showed at Texas just how special he could be as a prospect. We talked earlier in the offseason about how Robinson might be the best receiving option Atlanta has. For a second-year quarterback like Desmond Ridder, having the confidence that you can get the football to Robinson and he will do the heavy lifting has to feel good.

The Falcons Selected Robinson with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
