The Falcons offense moved the ball well on their opening drive against the Carolina Panthers. While they were forced to settle for a field goal, the offense has operated much better with rookie Michael Penix Jr. under center.
Early in the drive, Penix rifled a pass between multiple Panthers defenders to wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, who made an acrobatic catch on the sideline while keeping his feet inbounds.
