On Wednesday morning, the Atlanta Falcons requested an interview with Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, one of the most experienced available candidates, but are exploring all avenues to find their next coach.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the team will interview one of the youngest, most inexperienced candidates in Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady.
The #Falcons are interviewing #Panthers OC Joe Brady for their vacant head coaching job today, source said. He had the #Texans yesterday.

Brady, 31, interviewed for the Texans’ opening on Tuesday and continues to draw interest despite just one season as an NFL offensive coordinator.
After spending 2019 with LSU as the team’s passing game coordinator, Brady joined the Panthers staff in 2020 and has impressed in a short time. Prior to that, Brady spent time coaching at Penn State and then as an offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints from 2017-2018.
Stay tuned for more Falcons interview updates throughout the week.
