Falcons injury report: Updates on Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Grady Jarrett

The Atlanta Falcons returned to the practice field on Wednesday for more of a walkthrough than a typical practice. Head coach Raheem Morris said the team will implement more of these light walkthroughs to help keep players fresh for the second half of the season.

The Falcons released their first injury report for Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Nine players were listed, including wide receiver Drake London, tight end Kyle Pitts and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett.

London and Jarrett were limited participants while linebackers JD Bertrand and Matthew Judon did not participate. Check out the team’s full Wednesday injury report below.

Falcons Week 10 injury report:

Troy Andersen Knee FP
Drake London Hip LP
Kyle Pitts Hamstring LP
James Smith-Williams Tibia LP
Chris Lindstrom Knee LP

Drake London injury update:

London suffered a hip pointer during Sunday’s win over the Dallas Cowboys. The third-year wideout did not return to the game but was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday’s practice.

Kyle Pitts injury update:

Pitts was limited on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury. It’s not overly concerning but something to keep an eye on as the week progresses. Pitts had a quiet game in Week 9 (one catch for 11 yards).

Grady Jarrett injury update:

Jarrett was also limited on Wednesday as he deals with an Achilles strain. The veteran defensive tackle is expected to return for the team’s Week 10 matchup against the Saints.

Sunday’s game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET in New Orleans. The Falcons are three-point favorites entering Week 10, but the Saints just fired head coach Dennis Allen.
