The Atlanta Falcons head to New Orleans to take on the Saints in Week 9 needing a win in the worst way. At 3-4, a victory would put the Falcons in the thick of the NFC playoff race, and keep their NFC South chances alive.
It appears wide receiver Russell Gage (ankle), who was limited in practice on Wednesday, is on track to play after fully participating on Thursday. He told ESPN’s Michael Rothstein that he’s “feeling good, ready to roll” for this weekend.

As for defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard, he remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley was out again as he deals with a personal matter. Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said he didn’t know whether or not Ridley would return this week. Unless he returns Friday, though, there’s zero chance he suits up against the Saints.
Here’s a look at the team’s full Thursday practice report.
