Emanuel was the New York Giants defensive line coach from 2018-2019 under head coach Pat Shurmur. Prior to that, he spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers and various colleges dating back to his debut at Plymouth State in 1981.
Peelle has been the tight ends coach for the Eagles since 2015, but became available after the team fired head coach Doug Pederson. Peelle played the position for the Falcons from 2008-2010, racking up 37 catches for 370 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
Hoffman served as the special teams coordinator in Tennessee for two years (2016-2017), and spent a season in Atlanta as a special teams assistant in 2006. He was a special teams coach for the Dallas Cowboys for over 15 years.
Matt Pees, a former defensive assistant for the Titans, is the son of the Falcons’ new defensive coordinator, Dean Pees. He most recently served as the head coach at Findlay High School, but resigned to join Atlanta’s staff.
