Atlanta Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot continues to work his magic with the salary cap.

After restructuring the contracts of left tackle Jake Matthews and quarterback Matt Ryan, while getting EDGE Dante Fowler Jr. to take a pay cut, the Falcons have reportedly gotten middle linebacker Deion Jones to rework his deal.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Jones reduced his $12.63 million cap hit by $4 million after converting it to a bonus that can be spread over the duration of the deal.

The Falcons had $1.2 million in cap space before Jones’ restructure, which would give the team over $5 million once it becomes official. Check out every player’s 2021 cap number here.
