The Atlanta Falcons are currently working their way through their second round of interviews for the team’s head coach vacancy. On Wednesday, Atlanta completed a second interview with Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero.
After holding a virtual meeting with Evero over a week ago, the team hosted Evero for an in-person interview this time around. Evero spent one year with the Panthers as defensive coordinator in 2023 after holding the same role with the Denver Broncos in 2022.
Evero, 43, previously served as the safeties coach for the Los Angeles Rams (2017-2020) before being promoted to passing game coordinator in 2021.

The Falcons held a second interview with Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris on Tuesday and the team is expected to meet with both Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn next week.
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is also expected to get a second interview in Atlanta. Harbaugh met with the Chargers on Tuesday but no deal transpired.
Bill Belichick is also believed to be in the mix, but that seems to be losing steam the longer the interview process goes on. Track each Falcons head coach interview HERE.
