After being waived by the Tennessee Titans last week, future Hall of Famer and running back, Adrian Peterson, is getting a look from the Seattle Seahawks.
Per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Peterson is set to visit the 3-8 Seahawks on Wednesday. Seattle is in need at the position after losing starter Chris Carson for the rest of the 2021 season.
Peterson, who was signed in the wake of Derrick Henry’s injury, saw his first action of 2021 with the Titans in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams. He went on to play in three games for Tennessee in total, tallying 27 carries for 82 yards and one touchdown.
However, Peterson didn’t look like the team’s best back in any of the three games in which he played, which led to the Titans keeping fellow backs D’Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard over him.

Should Peterson latch on with Seattle, he’d be chasing history, as the 36-year-old is just 367 yards away from tying Barry Sanders for fourth on the all-time rushing yards list.
