Ex-Titans LB Will Compton says he’s set to hit free agency

Will Compton announced he’s set to become a free agent this offseason.

It’s a story so big that no one’s even talking about it.

At least those are the words of former Tennessee Titans linebacker Will Compton as he supposedly prepares to hit free agency.

He made the announcement via Twitter on Sunday evening.

So, where will Compton end up?

Well, there’s a chance he won’t be going anywhere. Compton, who was with the Las Vegas Raiders last season, thinks there’s “definitely” a chance he could remain with the team.

There’s plenty of possibilities though and after all, Compton did think there was a chance he’d never play football again when he launched his podcast last year.

“Nothing is off the table,” he wrote.

Compton played a single season with the Titans back in 2018, recording 16 tackles and one pass defensed over 12 games.

Last year with the Raiders, Compton tallied 41 tackles in nine contests.

It will be interesting to see how things shake out for Compton and several others around the league as free agency begins on March 18 at 3 p.m. CT.
