Former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is getting his second head coach interview since being fired.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Vrabel is in Atlanta on Wednesday interviewing for the Falcons’ head coaching vacancy. He was previously interviewed by the Los Angeles Chargers for their job.
Vrabel has some stiff competition for the Falcons job, as both Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick are both in the running.
Harbaugh is also a candidate for the Chargers job.
If hired, Vrabel would be following his former offensive coordinator, Arthur Smith, who coached the Falcons for three seasons before being fired after the 2023 campaign.
As Vrabel looks for his next destination, the Titans have already landed their guy, with the team announcing the hiring of new head coach Brian Callahan on Wednesday.
Tennessee also announced the promotions of Ran Carthon and Chad Brinker, and the team’s structure for 2024.
