Experts expect Notre Dame to cruise over Northern Illinois
It’s no surprise that the experts think Notre Dame will smoothly sail past NIU this week.
Sinclair’s teammate, Football Scoop John Brice has Notre Dame winning by a similar score, 34-6. He says ND should be in good shape, especially if the Irish score on their first possession.
“I don’t think there’s worry of letdown or lethargy; I think Notre Dame very much is still constructing its offensive identity,” Brice wrote. “I do believe the Irish need to generate an opening-possession score — allowing Northern Illinois to linger in this game only feeds the Huskies’ belief.”
