Former New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley released footage of his barbeque footrace with Kevin Hart.
Not only did the actor/comedian lose to the ex-NFL player, but he went on social media and revealed he suffered torn abductors in his lower abdomen and was wheelchair-bound after the contest.
“We get out there, and we go run the 40-yard dash. Guys, I blew all my [expletive]. I tore my lower abdomen,” said Hart. “My abductors are torn. I don’t even know what that is, but I tore them. I can’t walk. Sit my ass down. This is 44.”
On Friday, Ridley posted a video of the race on social media.

At 44 years old, Hart should be applauded for holding his own against Ridley. He definitely deserves some credit for effort, even with regret clearly sinking in hard in the aftermath.
But then again, who turns down a challenge at a barbeque? Stepping up to random challenges is an unwritten rule that has landed many 40-plus-year-old men in the same position as Hart is right now.
