As the San Antonio Spurs look to improve moving forward, Victor Wembanyama needs to be at the center of their minds. The 20-year-old rookie has been amazing this year, and he already looks to be the type of player they will be able to build their organization around for the better part of the next decade and beyond.
In just his first season, there were already some rumors floating around that the Spurs were looking to add talent next to Wembanyama. San Antonio was supposedly interested in adding Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young, and there’s still a chance they could look to add him at some point in the future.
Former NBA guard Jeff Teague recently spoke about how he believes Young and Wembanyama will team up eventually during an appearance on the Club 520 Podcast.
Teague believes the two stars will eventually play together, and if they do, it would make for a deadly combination, especially on offense.
