The Florida Gators have an afternoon date with the No. 11 West Virginia Mountaineers on the road Saturday for this year’s SEC-Big 12 Challenge.
UF and WVU meet for the second time in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, with the Gators winning the initial meeting in Gainesville back in January 2016. Overall, Florida holds a 6-3 edge in a series that dates back to 1963 and the last time the two schools met on the parquet was at the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden in December 2018, in which the Gators also triumphed.
In fact, UF currently holds the longest winning streak in the series at three games. But top-25 ranked WVU presents one of the biggest challenges yet this season for the Orange and Blue, entering the game a 5.5-point favorite, per BetMGM.
Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m. EST in WVU Coliseum, Morgantown, W.V., and will be broadcast on ESPN, livestreamed on the ESPN app and can be heard on the Gators Sports Network. Here is everything you need to know below.
