The winning streak continues, and Washington is now the No. 1 team in the NFC East.
Thanks to a loss from the New York Giants on Sunday, Washington was able to jump them in the standings thanks to a dominant game from the defense that gave them 4 sacks and two defensive touchdowns.
Washington fell behind early, but they were quickly able to bounce back and a fumble recovered and ran back for a touchdown by Chase Young before the half put them up 13-7 at the break. Another defensive touchdown in the second half from Kamren Curl added to the lead, but the 49ers would battle back and make it a game in the fourth quarter.
