Spirits are finally trending upward on the Plains.
It’s been a rough stretch of games for Auburn’s basketball team, but the Tigers did a little to make up for it after defeating the ranked Tennessee Volunteers 79-70 on Saturday. [autotag]Wendell Green Jr.[/autotag] particularly showed out, dropping 24 points in the victory, but the whole team’s strong defensive effort helped Auburn nab a crucial SEC victory heading into the upcoming SEC tournament.
