One of the best active coaches in college football, Georgia’s [autotag]Kirby Smart[/autotag], was just beaten by one of the rising stars in the profession, Notre Dame [autotag]Marcus Freeman[/autotag].
It was a memorable Sugar Bowl for the Irish, as the 23-10 victory advances them to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff. They will now face off against Penn State in under a week, on Jan. 9 with the kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The Capital One Orange Bowl will be the host of that game, and it will be broadcast on ESPN.
Smart didn’t seem too happy following the game, as he touched multiple topics in his post-game press conference, which included talking about the whole-sale change by the Irish in the fourth quarter, he gave plenty of credit to Notre Dame as well.
